The concept of the Spectrum logo

For the design process two concepts were chosen as a starting point;

Frequency and the letter S. The concept of FREQUENCY symbolizes life’s energy flow with multiple paths represented by each wavelength that fades into “nothingness”.

The letter S from SPECTRUM represents movement, 1/2 of the infinity symbol, and the constant “waves” or flow of life. 

The open space in between represents boundaries and the unknown. 

The final logo represents balance, no yin without yang, the unknown, and the flow of energy that moves within us all and our surroundings.
